AIMS OF THE SOCIETY
- Guiding the students throughout their college life - It is a common understanding that the students coming into this new step of their lives may have problems adapting to the new environment of the university/college especially those from the north east and other minority groups/communities. Thus NESS DSEC aims to act as a guiding light for them in all aspects of their college life. From Admission to their Graduation.
- Ensuring a safe and comfortable environment - For instance where Students may feel alienated or unsafe during their college life the society aims to act as a guardian for the students and create a safe space and a sense of reliability between the college and the students. Creating an environment that feels like home away from home
- Promote the Preservation and showcase of all Cultural identities -The society aims to help the students preserve their culture no matter how far away they may be from their homes. It aims to create a platform through which students can learn from each other’s culture and respect each other.
